Did you miss out on our Wheal Watkins mine tours during South Australia’s History Festival? Please join us for a surface visit to the State Heritage listed Wheal Watkins mine at Glen Osmond. This is a free event where you can learn more about the mine’s history and look into the tunnels from the mine entrances.
We’d love to see the mine reopened for heritage tours in the future.
Parking available at the end of Allandale Avenue, Glen Osmond.

Burnside Historical Society is offering two guided walks in two City of Burnside areas.
Thursday 14 May at 10am Eastwood Walk commences from the Eastwood Community Centre, 95 Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood.
Saturday 23 May at 2pm Glen Osmond Walk commences from JB Ware Reserve, corner of Portrush and Glebe Roads, Glen Osmond.
