The history of vegetation in Burnside and the recent restoration of the Michael Perry Reserve
Presented by Dr Mark Ellis
Michael Perry Reserve is along Second Creek in upper Stonyfell. It can be entered from Kurrajong Avenue. There are several walking tracks in the area. It is often used for wedding party photographs, particularly in the spring and autumn. At these times there are often good opportunities for contrasting effects.
Mark has considerable experience and knowledge in Conservation & Land Management. He currently manages the vegetation of the council reserves and the Burnside Council Nursery that grows thousands of plants for these.
